CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

With a distinguished career spanning roles in reinsurance, broking, and investment banking, Rob has significant experience in applying capital markets structures and techniques in insurance risk transfer. In addition to his role at Novel, he is currently Vice Chairman of Howden Re and Executive Chairman of Howden Capital Markets and Advisory. Previously, he was the CEO of Howden Re, CEO of Third Point Re (a NYSE listed Bermuda reinsurer), and President of the Americas for Aon Re.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

With nearly three decades of financial and insurance industry experience, Chris has served in numerous leadership positions, most recently as the Group CFO of Aspen Insurance Group.  Prior to Aspen, Chris was the public company CFO for Third Point Re and led the finance function from its startup to its IPO and acquisition of Sirius Group.  Chris’ career began in public accounting with Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and he is a Certified Public Accountant.

HEAD OF ANALYTICS & RISK

David Drury brings over 35 years of insurance industry experience to Novel, including senior actuarial, underwriting and executive roles.  Prior to joining Novel, he held positions of EVP, Underwriting at SiriusPoint, Chief Risk Officer of Chubb Tempest Re, Chief Underwriting Officer of Chubb Tempest Re, and President of Chubb Tempest Life Re. David is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

CHAIRMAN

Jacques Bonneau brings considerable experience, insight, and relationships to the firm as it embarks in its next phase of growth and development. Currently on the board of Brit Ltd, Bonneau retired as CEO and President of Partner Re in March 2024 and is a highly regarded leader within the global (re)insurance sector. He has previously served as Chairman of Ace Tempest Re and then became the Group Chief Underwriting Officer at ACE/Chubb. He was also a Senior Advisor to the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA).
